Simsen® Personal Baseline Collection Kit

The first-visit kit. Tumour tissue for the personalised panel, a matched normal control and the first ctDNA blood draw, all in one box. Tissue + Normal + ctDNA.

  • Use for: a patient's first visit, before any monitoring
  • Contains: tissue specimen box, 2 × 10 mL Streck, 1 × 6 mL EDTA

Simsen® Personal Follow-up ctDNA Collection Kit

For patients already set up with a Baseline kit. One venous blood draw, two Streck tubes, for each ctDNA monitoring timepoint. No tissue or control needed.

  • Use for: ongoing ctDNA monitoring timepoints
  • Contains: 2 × 10 mL Streck, plus the shared packing items
  • Ships: room temperature, return label included

Streck BCT tubes are used in our kits. PaxGene, Norgen or Roche cfDNA tubes are also acceptable. Do not use heparin tubes.

Tumour content must be > 30%, as assessed by the customer. We do not accept whole tumour blocks. A matched germline control (typically whole blood in EDTA) is highly recommended for accurate somatic variant calling.
